Lamma 2018: JCB updates Agri-Pro loader transmission
JCB completes the roll-out of its DualTech VT hydrostatic-powershift transmission into the Loadall telescopic handler range with the introduction of the 560-80 Agri Pro.
Installing the new multimode transmission in this high-capacity model is said to result in a machine that still packs a punch on bulk rehandling and loading, but with the added finesse of hydrostatic-drive low-speed control.

The two elements of the transmission work seamlessly and automatically, providing inching control without the brakes and flexible hydro drive up to 19kph before switching to direct drive powershift up to 40kph.
Different operating modes can be set up for low-speed work, loading or rehandling, with a fixed engine speed to deliver optimum hydraulic power, and greater economy by limiting engine speed when appropriate.
This flagship of the Loadall range lifts 6,000kg and can handle a 5cu m grain bucket from the extensive JCB Agri attachments range.
A heavy-duty implement carriage and Z-bar linkage converts hydraulic power into high break-out force, but with a generous dump angle at the 8m lift height.
