Cash up for grabs in 2017 Farmers Weekly Photo Competition

It’s that time of year once again – Farmers Weekly’s annual photography competition is now open for entries.

With no less than eight exciting categories to enter your farming photos into this year, this competition is your big chance to share and celebrate the best of British farming.

The competition is open to all amateur photographers and the categories cover a broad range of farming and rural topics, so it’s dead easy to find at least one you can enter.

  • Machinery
  • Wildlife

The overall winner of last year’s competition was Rose Tabberer

To help us pick a winner, runner-up and highly commended entries from each category, this year we have invited the winner of Farmers Weekly’s 2015 harvest front cover competition Heather Ross to judge your photos.

As is tradition, we will be showing off the winning snap and a handful of the other entries we love in Farmers Weekly’s bumper Christmas issue.

You can either get out and about to take photos specifically with this competition in mind – or you can dig out a favourite farming snap you have already taken.

We always love to read a little bit of information with your entry – so please don’t forget to tell us when and where your photo was taken, along any other details you would like to include.
