Clarkson’s hit farm show tipped for second series

A second series of the Amazon Prime hit Clarkson’s Farm is in the pipeline, according to reports.
Jeremy Clarkson’s eight-part farming documentary, which aired on Amazon Prime on 11 June, has been such a hit that makers are already planning to follow it up with another series.
The Grand Tour presenter decided to run his own 400ha farm in the Cotswolds – despite knowing absolutely nothing about farming.

The fly-on-the-wall documentary series follows Mr Clarkson through his tumultuous first year in farming during a global pandemic and some of the most extreme weather in decades.
The first series features Mr Clarkson battling the elements to grow arable crops with varied success, trying out his hand at lambing and driving his enormous Lamborghini R8 tractor, which can’t fit in his shed.
The Sun is reporting that bosses of Clarkson’s Farm have decided it’s a “no-brainer” to film a new series after the first broke records on Amazon Prime.
A source told the newspaper: “Jeremy is Amazon’s golden boy and a new series is already in the pipeline.
“It’s rated five stars on Amazon and has a 9.3 rating on IMDB, which is practically unheard of.”
There is no timeline about when the second series could air, but June 2022 is being tipped as a likely start date for part two.
Fans of Clarkson’s Farm should expect to see the TV presenter’s girlfriend, Lisa, running the Diddly Squat Farm Shop and his farming helpers, Kaleb, Charlie and Gerald in front of the camera again.
