Photo of the Week: Levelling the field with ‘touch of glamour’

Thank you to Jade for her photo in support of Farmers Weekly‘s Levelling The Field campaign, where she is pictured holding one of the lambs she is working with as a new shepherdess.

Jade has recently made the leap into an agricultural career after a 16-year career in hairdressing.

She says: “Making the leap into shepherding was daunting, but I would like to hope if I can do it then anyone can.

“It is a challenge to overcome the stigma of feminism in agriculture, and I want to prove women should be taken seriously, even with a touch of glamour!”
