FUW president Ian Rickman praised the high standard of submissions, stating that the calendar beautifully encapsulates the seasons and vibrancy of rural life.

“This competition has highlighted that farming matters to all of us in one way or another and our Welsh family farms are vital as food producers, countryside stewards, wildlife supporters, technical innovators and vital to safeguard traditional skillsets,” he said.

“Congratulations to all the winners and thank you for taking the time to capture these images, for showcasing farming and our wonderful countryside in such a skilled way.”

The 2025 calendar will be available for free at FUW county offices and the Royal Welsh Winter Fair on November 24 and 25.
