Photo competition 2015 winners announced

Thanks to everyone who entered the Farmers Weekly Photography Competition 2015 – we’re announcing the winners today (18 December).

From busy lambing scenes to dusty cultivation work, your entries have captured an array of scenes portraying the industry, beauty and occasional quirkiness of our wonderful working countryside.

With eight categories covering the whole range of farming and rural topics, this is one of the most prestigious rural photo competitions in the UK.

From the thousands of entries, we’ve selected a winner and two commended entries in each of the categories – and have also published a selection of our favourite shots in the bumper Christmas issue of Farmers Weekly magazine.

The photos that took the top spots in each of the categories will now battle it out for the “winner of winners” accolade, which will net the snapper £250.
