Photos: Farmer’s freaky Frankenstein pumpkins

A farmer in Kent is growing some frightfully freaky pumpkins and squash for punters to pop inside their homes as Halloween decorations.

These super-scary squash are the dream diversification for farmer Charles Eckley, who is based just 25 miles outside of London, near Maidstone.

When he returned to help run Boarley farm four years ago, Charles quickly realised that the arable farm business needed to diversify, and his passion for pumpkins formed the inspiration for this new venture.
