Video: Farmer bashing in the media – the environment battle

Criticism of farming practices has been prominent in the mainstream media and social platforms over the last few months, from anti-red meat eating, to water use and insect decline.

In this video, livestock farmer and active social media user Llyr Jones, and Dr Prysor Williams, farmer and lecturer in environmental management, challenge the myths and the assumptions from the anti-lobby.

They explain how important it is to engage with the critics, communicate the positive farming environment stories, and accept that farming needs to be part of the solution.
