SIMA 2009: Gregoire Besson expands stubble cultivator range

French plough giant, Gregoire Besson, expanded its mounted and semi-mounted stubble cultivator range with the addition of a semi-mounted Eurocult 5000, which will be coming over to the UK for evaluation on farm this year.
Available in working widths of between 9 and 11m, the 5000 consists of five folding sections with three rows of tines, said to have a tear out force of 600kg/leg, working depths can be controlled hydraulically and buyers can choose between a triple row of tine harrows or rollers to follow. The machine can be fitted with either levelling discs or crossboard blades, too.
