10,500gns sale wraps up Limousin trading at Carlisle

And that the’s end of trading here at Carlisle for today. Its been a tremendous sale with bids from both pedigree and commercial men prepared to pay money for good bulls with figures and conformation to match.

The last bull of the day, Ampertaine Cannon from Messrs McKay was always one which would cause a stir and so it proved.

Having picked up a red ticket yesterday this one by Ampertaine Abacadabra and out of Shire Milton sired Ampertaine Tennessee drew a flurry of bids from the ringside and finished the sale in style selling for 10,500gns.Buying this one was William Cowse, Hudscales.

A little earlier Messrs Fieldson sols Fieldson Calyspso at 7500gns. This one is by Objat and out of Fieldson Annette.

129 bulls sold today for a record centre average of £5744, quite a sale I’m sure you’ll agree.

Photos will be along later and don’t forget we’ll be in Perth on Monday to bring you all the action from there too….
