4000gns top for Carlisle Limousin females

A brace of 4000gns bids topped the Limousin female trade in Carlisle this evening as leading breeders lead the trade.

First to make this figure was George Hutton with Ugues daughter Cloughhead Camelia. This one is out of Cloughhead Minny, a Jerome daughter and sold to Ruth Pop and Edward Stephenson, Howgill, Kirkby Stephen.

Also at this money was Millington Devotion from Millington Grange Estates. By Mas Du Clo and out of Brockhurst Option, Devotion sold with an impressive beef value of +36 to an undisclosed buyer.

Two also sold at 3100gns, first up was another from George Hutton, Cloughhead Cleopatra. Again by Ugues, this one is out of Japelou daughter Cloughhead Nightingale and sold to Mr Evans.

Second call at 3100gns was Barrons Duchess a Objat daughter out of Barrons Tosca. This one has a beef value of +32 and goes back to Waindale Prime, the sire of the supreme champion at the Scottish Winter Fair in 2007.
