Aberdeen Angus bull sells for 1450gns

The four year old stock bull, Hepworth Prince Elgar, bred by Messrs Nicol, sold for the top price of 1450gns at Sedgemoor Auction Centre at the weekend.

This formed part of the dispersal sale of the Loxton Herd of pedigree Aberdeen Angus from B M and R G Flood.

The three year old pedigree Aberdeen Angus, Woodington Eulina, with heifer calf at foot, sold for the next best price of 1160gns.

Close behind at 1110gns was the three year old, Woodington Pinky Glamour with bull calf at foot.

The six year old dry cow, Woodington Eulina, which had been running with the bull since March, sold for 920gns.
