Agri-Expo: Alfords take baby beef champ with Pokemon

The Baby beef championship has just been announced and continuing their winning success after last week’s Countryside Live was the Charlotte Alford, Devon with Pokemon. This Limousin cross steer was bred by Messrs McArthur, Nairn and was bought for £3000 at the Thainstone Spectacular where it was also Supreme Baby Calf. This one will next be appearing in Birmingham, Scottish Winter Fair and at the Welsh Winter Fair where it will be sold.

In reserve was John W Smith-Jackson with the Limousin x steer Golden Eye. This one is by the Limousin Shire Apollo and was bred by the exhibitor.
