Agri-Expo:Quality steers on show

Well what a task the judges have a head of them. In the cattle classes judging of steers has finished with heifers following after lunch. With seven classes in this section, taking first in class 1 was Mr Jonathan Craggs with Otis a February 2009 born Limousin x British Blue. This one was second at Countryside Live.  

 

Next in class 2 was an October 2008 born Limousin cross from Alistair and Elizabeth Vance with Kaiser Chief. In class 3 it was King Kong from B E Williams with his Limousin cross August 2008 born steer.

 

In class 4 it were J L White and son with Rocket taking the first prize with this April 2008 born British Blue steer. Then in Class 5 it was a British Blue cross Limousin steer by L Y Hughes. Trevor Boy was born in June 2008 and is bred by Terfor Jones, Wales.

 

It was Sooty- an April 2008 born British Blue cross Limousin steer that took first prize in class six from Graham Jones. And again a Limousin cross British Blue was the one taking first prize in class 7, from William and Tippetts with Buckoff.
