Angus Black Beauty show honours well spread

Prizes were spread far and wide among a range of exhibitors at Saturday’s Black Beauty Bonanza show of Aberdeen-Angus at Thainestone.

Taking the top yearling heifer prize under Canadian judge Doug Robertson was Mosston Muir Eline from Tom Rennie. This one is by Rawburn Transformer and iut of Mosston Muir Elise. This heifer drew plenty of admiring looks from the ringside, with two watchers, Jim Logan and John Elliot taking their cheque books out to secure her in a £15,000 private deal. She will now be used in ET programmes in their Rawburn and Galawater herds.
