Baggrave Charolais to disperse in July

Anyone with an interest in Charolais breeding is likely to be at Newark Market on 4 July when the Baggrave herd of Charolais is due to come under the hammer.

The herd, which has produced some of the breed’s best known sires through the years, including Baggrave Minstrel will be sold by Newark’s Paul Gentry who is expecting a big crowd for the 100 cattle on offer.

“Without doubt this a sale everyone in the Charolais world will want to be at and certainly not one to be missed. There are some exceptional cattle in the herd today and they look in exceptional form at the moment.”
