Baileys Suffolk draft tops at E7000gns
Prices reached 7000Eugns at last weekend’s production sale from the Baileys and Laurelbank Suffolk flocks held at Tattersalls,
The twin-born ewe was part of Tom Bailey’s consignment. She is by Rhaeadr Rossi and out of a dam by Glenisla Sydney and was bought by Iain Barbour – who bred the service sire – for his Solwaybank flock at Annan,
Jimmy Douglas is never far away from the action and paid 6500Eugns to claim some of his own breeding through another Bailey gimmer by Rossi. She is out of a ewe by Cairness Tremendous and was carrying a single lamb to the Whitestone Warrior son Cairness New Approach that was bought privately from Mr Douglas’ Cairness flock as a lamb in June.
