Beef Shorthorns off to steady start at Perth
The Beef Shorthorn trade has got off to a steady start here this afternoon, with Mike Holmes’ Holmeere George selling at 4800gns to Major Gibb, Glenisla.
The next up, Pode Hole Ambassador from the Horrells of Peterborough sold at 3500gns to Mr Catton.
And then at 3400gns J Borland’s Windyhills Viceroy sold at 3400gns, this one is a son of Belmore Fuel Injected.
Then, setting the trade mildly alight was the breed champion, Chapelton Ambassador from Donald Biggar. By Chapelton Typhoon, Ambassador sold at 6000gns to Wester Beaton.
The reserve champion, Uppermill Rotary from James Porter then sold at a modest 4500gns.
