Boddington takes Royal Simmental title

Boddington Estates, led by stockman Jimmy MacMillan have taken the Simmental championship here at the Royal Show, with their senior bull Sterling Viking 2. This one, which passed unsold at Perth last October at 10,000gns is by Sterling Rochester and out of Sterling Helen’s Lyric.

Reserve champion was the second prize bull from the same class, Greenfields Viper from Giles Green. This one is by Corskie Pilot and out of Brigstock Nettle.

Standing junior champion was Beeches Whisper from C H Carter Partners. She’s by Astcote Ranger and out of Beeches Sage.
