Hitting a high of £3,675 at the autumn British Blonde sale at Carlisle was Lochhead Gavin bred by L Laird and Sons from
This March 2011-born bull, weighing in at 881kg, is sired by Lochhead Dam Good. Gavin won the junior male award in the pre-sale show before being secured by AI services from
Ramrig Gladiator bred by George Hamilton from Dunns, Berwickshire, weighing 786kgs and sired by Hallfield Destiny also achieved £3,675 and will be travelling back to Berwickshire to S and D Blaylock. Gladiator was born in April 2011 and was junior and overall male champion at the Royal Highland show 2012.

Supreme champion of the presale show was served heifer Gala Felicity born April 2010. Bred and shown by Jimmy Frame from Biggar, Lanarkshire, she is sired by Garngour Tournado and out of Gala Sophy served by Gala Earthquake.
Jackie Smith from Driffield East Yorkshire was thrilled to be taking home served heifer to Ashtonlodge Tyson, Hillhead Foxtrot. This Sauveur daughter, born May 2010 is a stylish heifer showing excellent breeding potential. She saw the fall of the hammer at £1,890.
