Carlisle Ayrshires sell to 3200gns top call

Today’s Northern National sale of Ayrshires at Carlisle saw a top call of 3200gns paid for Knowe Clarinda from G and G Templeton. This one is a June 2008-born heifer by Stamford Convincer and out of Knowe Clarinda, a Knowe Royal Salut daughter.

Next best at 2600gns was Haresfoot Buzz from Duncan Hunter. Born in August last year this bull is by Lagae Ristourn and out of Haresfoot Bella 6, an Ex95 Horizon Ranger Red Hot daughter.

Making 2400gns was Flintstone Brazen Enzo, a June 2009-born Haresfoot Brazen son out of Haresfoot Easlad Ella, a Hunnington Bbk Easlad daughter which was All Britain heifer champion in 2008.

Then selling for 2200gns was Davidsons Gettysburg from Craig Davidson. Sired by Lagace Modem and out of Palmyre Tri-Star R J Bonnie, he is a January 2009-born bull.

At 2100gns was Haresfoot Khan from Duncan Hunter. Sired by Ardmore Crown Napier and out of Middle Punchs Emerald Blend, he was born in August last year.
