Carlisle Bleu and Millenium Bleu sale report

Selling for the top price of 700gns in the Bleus at Carlisle last week was the pre-sale champion from Simon Norman. This one was a homebred shearling tup by Maximum Ever Ready and out of a homebred dam by Alfie. He was bought by R Reid, Lockerbie.

Then at 620gns was another from the same home, this time a shearling bred by S H Kilby, Astley Geronimo. This is an Astley Emrys son out of Astley Dazzle, am Astley Zurich daughter. He sold to H S MacTier and Son, Whauphill.

At 500gns was the best of the day from William Baillie, Calla Grand. This son of Cysgod Daniel is out of a Goldies Victory sired dam and sold to J and A Ridley, Corbridge.

In the Bleu females the best call was a 480gns bid for Calla Holly, again from William Baillie. This is another by Cysgod Daniel an out of a Langley Cannon daughter. She sold to G Richardson, Wasdale. Second best here was a 400gns bid for one from T S Goldie, Maunby Heather. She is by Maunby Discovery and out of a dam by a Haydon sire and sold to W K McGowan, Greenlaw.

MILLENIUM BLEUS

Leading the Millenium Bleus on offer was a 900gns sale for a shearling ewe from Gavin Shanks. This one, Inveresk Griselda, is by an Inveresk sire and sold to R Pilkington, Wrexham.

Then at 850gns was one from William Baillie, a shearling tup by a homebred sire, he went to P Whyte and Sons, Crieff. And then at 840gns was another shearling from the same home which sold to R Reid, Lockerbie.
