Crossbred steer wins NW Limousin calf show

Top spot at the North West Limousin club’s show at Carlisle last week went to Rambo, a crossbred steer from S J Nixon. This one is a Rossignol son out of a crossbred cow.NW Lim champion calf.JPGTaking the bull class was Hartsidanew Earl, a Wilodge Bestmate son from J Thompson, second was Hartsideanew Exit by Winnington Upgrade.

Second in the heifer class was Maybe Emeral, a Bremore Artist daughter from D Cornthwaite. Crossbred heifer leader was Sundance, a Liscon Atom daughter from Keith Harryman.

Taking the reserve overall spot was purebred heifer Dynamite Ella from Messrs Cormack McDowell Partners. This is a Greenhill Viper daughter.
