Dairy trade tops £2,750 at Bentham Auction

David Wright of Berryholme, Helsington topped the weekly sale at Bentham Auction Mart last week. Berryholme Jupiter Britmosa combined both strength and quality, 14 days calved and giving 32kgs she caught the eye of a very competitive ringside to realise £2,750 selling to Joseph and Maurice Wannop of Morecambe.

From an entry of ten cattle, six made in excess of £2,000 with an overall sale average of £2,003.
