Dolgellau Annual Autumn show and sale of pedigree Welsh Black cattle

Top price of the day was achieved by Brysgaga Eirian 47^th the champion female from Mr Rowland Rees, Brysgaga, Bow Street, Ceredigion. Sired by Penwernhir Seraff and out of Brysgaga Eirian 25^th, she sold outside the ring to Mr BW Thomas, Chwaen Goch, Llanerch-y-Medd, Anglesey for 2,000gns.

Reserve champion Brysgaga Addowol 59th, another heifer from Mr Rees, was also bought by the same buyer after the sale for 1,200gns. Only a month younger, she was sired by the same bull and out of Brysgaga Addawol 50^th.  The heifer had also been running with the bull.

Knocked down to 1,750gns was cow and calf outfit, Coedllys Miranda 22^nd with her April-2014 born heifer at foot from William Davies, Brynglas, Ponterwyd, Aberystwyth.  They sold to G Hughes, Hen Du, Llanbedrog, Pwllheli.

Mynach Non 18th from A and RC Williams Pentre, Cwmtirmynach, Bala. The June 2013 born heifer was sired by Gwarcwm Max 22^nd and out of Mynach Non 14^th and sold for 1,300gns to P Danson, Corwen.

Maiden heifer, Perthi Non 3^rd (ET), from Sion Wyn Jones, Caerberllan, Penisarwaun, Caernarfon, sold for 1,260gns to P Danson, Tanybwlch, Gwerfyl Goch, Corwen. Born June 2013, she was sired by Caerynwch Major 6^th and out of Deiniolen Non 20^th.

Champion bull of the day was senior bull, Conwy Bob, born June 2008 and sired by Brysgaga Erddyn 42^nd.   This bull was entered by Messrs Jones, Talymignedd Isaf, Nantlle, Caernarfon but remains unsold.
