Drumtall Holsteins disperse to 3500gns peak

This week’s dispersal of the Drumtall herd of Holsteins for Jim Gray at Borderway Mart, Carlisle, resulted in a fantastic trade with more than 20 of the 100 head making more than 2000gns and a top price of 3500gns paid.

Top money was reserved for an August calved VG87 heifer by Mesland Duplex and bred from two generations of homebred Bella cows tracing back to the Stanmace herd in the USA. She sold to J and J Kinlcoh, Cardross.
