Crowds of breeders were in attendance for the record breaking Holland Master sale. Celebrating one of the greatest consignments of animals ever offered in mainland Europe, records were shattered as 33 animals sold fro an average price of ÂŁ8924 to buyers from seven different countries.

Enthusiatic bidding saw both of the tope priced lots selling for ÂŁ33,150 to the Wills Brothers for their UK based Willsbro herd. First to realise that figure was a 2 year old fortunes daughter of Canada‘s -Comestar Lautamie Titanic VG89. Follwing behind was a very exclusive Mac Calf from one of America‘s best Picston Shottle daughters-Regancrest S Chassity VG88.

Both heifers were sired by bulls available in the UK and sold with multiple contracts for embryos and bulls.

Next highest price was ÂŁ24,500 for a  two year old daughter of Ralma Goldwyn Carmel , sired by Marshall Billion. She stays in the Netherland having been purchased by J Brummelhuis.

Selling for ÂŁ20,500 was a heifer calf from Calbrett Goldwyn Layla, a daughter of the renowned Cow- Lylehaven Lila Z. Sired by Pronto this calf will join Willemshoeve Holsteins of the Netherlands.

This was the first time calves from the UK had been presented at a sale in mainland Europe.  Holmland Elayo Rachel Red, consigned by Stephen Bell was admired and realised ÂŁ7,100. And Indianhead Durham Extra, consigned by Smiddiehill Holsteins sold for ÂŁ6,100, both selling to King’s Court of the Netherlands.
