Fieldson Alfy son wins Countryside Live Baby Beef title

The top award in the Baby Beef classes here at Countryside Live has gone to Neil Slack with a Fieldson Alfy-sired steer, Alfie. This one weighed in at 346kg and was born in March of this year. He is out of a Limousin cross dam and was on his third outing, having been shown twice in the summer. His next appearance will be at Agri-Expo, Carlisle, next week, followed by the East of England Winter Stock festival.TS 176 Baby Beef Champ.JPGReserve was a heifer from the Richardson family, Ghyll House.
