The final few lots of cows the Bankdale sale have passed off well, with a 17,000gns sale for Bankdale Dana, a Sarkley Volt daughter out of Bankdale Alice, dam of 38,000gns bull Bankdale Exfactor. She sold with her Tehix-sired heifer calf Bankdale Goldie at foot. She went to Messrs Kelly, Nether Hall.Then at 10,500gns was Bankdale Dee, a Cloughhead Titanic daughter out of Bankdale Boo, which made 5000gns earlier in the day. She sold with her bull calf by Tehix, Bankdale Guy, at foot having calved in May. This one sold to Keith Harrryman.

After her came a 9000gns bid for Bankdale Evie (lot 67). This Oslo daughter is out of Snapie, a Nashville daughter and sold with Tehix bull calf Bankdale Greg at foot. She has a beef value of +33.Taking her were G and J E Bell, Longmarton.

A 13,500gns call then claimed the senior stock bull Ironstone Colonel. This Vantastic son is out of Wilodge Relisa, a Brontemoor Ilkley daughter. Colonel has a beef value of +32 and his first son, Bankdale Freeman, sold for 15,000gns in May. He sold in a two-way split to Jim Bloom and Mark Phillips.
