Finalists named for ABN award
Three finalists have been named for the ABN Innovation Award – the winner of which will be announced on the second day of the British Pig and Poultry Fair 2010 (Wednesday 12 May).
The award provides a unique opportunity for young people from outside and within the industry to put forward exciting and innovative concepts for marketing British pig and poultry products.
The three contenders include Kerri Worrall, a freelance PR consultant from Pulham St Mary, Norfolk; Tom Martindale, an agricultural and marketing student at Harper Adams; and Alastair Butler, partner in his family’s 2000-sow outdoor free-range unit.
The judging panel consists of Michael Barker from The Grocer magazine, Debbie and Andrew Keeble from Debbie and Andrew’s and Noble Foods CEO Peter Thornton.
Visitors can find out who scoops the £1000 prize in the main theatre at 12.00pm on Wednesday 12 May.
