First Carlisle Beltex tup highlights
Beltex shearling and aged tups have been selling well so far this morning with the pick of the trade so far a 3000gns call for Ardstewart Nice Lad from the McCrabbes. This Ardstewart King of Speads son stood second in the shearling class yesterday and sold to commercial tup breeder Paul Slater.
Making 1800gns was Bishops Norville from Andrew and Becky Bishop, he is a Fearn Grand Slam son. Then at 1600gns was Artnagullion Ninja from Elizabeth McAllister. He is by Ulysses and sold to Mr Mason. Another from the same home and by the same sire, Artnagullion Noddy sold at 1400gns to Paul Slater.
Top call in the aged rams was a 2300gns bid for Eskdale Lionheart, a Langlands Hudson son, he was forward from Jock McMillan having been bred by Messrs McIlwraith and Co.
