The Bleu Du Maine breed took home the interbred pairs title for the first time at the Royal Highland Show at the weekend.

The pair were both from T S Goldie, North Yorkshire, and were made up of a three-shear homebred ewe and a shearling tup bred by Simon Norman, Somerset, which was bought as a lamb at the Carlisle sale by Stuart Goldie.
