Goldies Champion makes 28,000gns at Carlisle

The senior champion Charolais from yesterday’s pre-sale show Goldies Champion has netted the highest call of the day so far today of 28,000gns.

This one, which previously sold at Perth for 38,000gns before being returned to his vendor due to pedigree issues, is by Goldies Uppermost and out of Kinclune Pipper and has tremendous figures of +46 and +50.

He sold to a phone bidder with the Hamish Goldie offering to buy back a half share.

Just afterwards the reserve senior champion Thrunton Conqueror from Colin, Ian and John Campbell sold for 9000gns. He’s by Talisman and out of Thrunton Snowflake, an Orlando daughter. His figures are +20 and +31 respectively.
