Leading the way at Friday’s sale of Limousins at Carlisle was a 6009gns bid for Goldies Draughtsman, an Ampertaine Bravo son from Bruce Goldie. This one is out of Goldies Vitality, a Sarkley Ragtime daughter and sold with a beef value of +41 to A L L Williams and Sons, Pwllheli.
Making 4300gns was Galbally Dan from N and E Cruickshank. This is by Wilodge Vantastic and out of Millknock Nimble. Bred by Trevor Masterton in Co Wexford, he sold to G Sowerby, Appleby.
And just behind that at 4200gns was Hafodlas Edryd from the Roberts family. This is a Bailea Spunkie son out of Bracebank Jackie, a Ronick Gains daughter. He went home with I F and C A Nicholson, Hillswick, Shetland.
Then at 3800gns was Bailea Drwho from Brian and Matthew Jones. This one is a Mythe son out of Bailea Toshiba, a Marron daughter and sold with a beef value of +15 to S E Williams, Abergele, Conwy.
Following on at 3500gns was another from Bruce Goldie, Goldies Dollar. Also by Bravo, he is out of Goldies Angela, a Domino daughter and sold with a beef value of +29 to G Snaith and Son, Rothbury.
In the females on offer the best price was a 2100gns sale for Kirtlevale Claire from Richard Livingstone. This Oxygene daughter out of Kirtlevale Teegal sold with her Vantastic sired heifer calf at foot to Andrew Ewing.
