Great Yorkshire dairy results

Taking the Holstein championship at today’s Great Yorkshire Show was intermediate cow Ternbridge Rosaland 90 from E M Seaton. This is an August 2006-born Roylane Jordan daughter.

Reserve were R and E Butterfield with their junior cow Saxelby Goldwyn Rose. She is a February 2006-born Braedale Goldwyn daughter.

Honours in the Dairy Shorthorn classes went to J C Hayward with Hooton Lily Fair 196. This June 2003-born cow is a daughter of Hooton Fair Appeal. Reserve honours went to the same home, this time with in milk heifer Chatsworthpark Rustler Rosette an October 2006 born daughter of Sir Ridgedal Rustler Red.

Jersey champion was G M and A J Harrison’s cow Hillside Laser’s Ann. She is a July 2006-born daughter of Willoa Laser.

Taking reserve spot was Pavenham Jerseys with their succesful cow Pavenham Iben 9.
