Heifers in demand at Willsbro
A run of well bred heifers from the Dellia family had sold solidly here at Willsbro, with Willsbro Armistead Dellia (lot 41) selling at 2000gns, Willsbro Arms Dellia making the same money and Willsbro Jeeves Dellia netting a 2500gns bid. All of these were out of Riverdane Leduc Dellia, with the first two being by Diamon-Oak Armistead and the last by Ked Outside Jeeves.
Following that was Willsbro Shottle Echo, a Shottle daughter out of Villavale Sandro Echo, a VG89 dam, this one was sold away at 6800gns having calved on the first of February, she sold complete with a package of embryos.
Her September-born heifer calf by Goldwyn, Willsbro Goldwyn Echo was next up, taking a 3000gns bid. A bull calf also by Goldwyn and out of the same dam went on to trade at 1800gns. Then another heifer from the same dam, this time by Windy-Knoll View 4 Aces was sold at 2000gns.
