High Peak stores

With store cattle prices already reflecting the increasing values of finished cattle there are expectations of a lively trade at the major offering of over 800 at the High Peak Livestock Society’s well known January sale on Friday (January 18th) at Bakewell.

Auctioneer Alastair Sneddon said the confidence underpinning the prime cattle trade was expected to see no let-up in the New Year demand.

“All indications are that the trade for stores will continue to follow through from what’s happening to prime cattle,” said Mr Sneddon.
