Trecanda Vindication Lily, by Vindication Cjcc and out of Windsor Imperials December Boy, is one of 70 Jerseys run by the family and is currently giving more than 20 litres a day. She has previously been interbreed heifer at the Royal Welsh and reserve interbreed heifer at this year’s Royal Show.
Standing reserve was the Holstein heifer champion from the Wills family, Cornwall. Their leader was Peak Sam Frantoosh, bred by Bill Nadin. This one is by Regancrest Mr Drham Sam and is currently giving more than 50 litres a day in the family’s 1100 cow herd at home in Wadebridge. She was bought for 4000gns as the family already owned her mother which is Robert Wills’ favourite cow in the Willsbro herd.
