JL heads for pastures new….
As many Taking Stock fans will be aware I am leaving Farmers Weekly this week and will be working in a freelance capacity from next week onwards, as well as continuing to try and breed that elusive “perfect sheep”!
After eight and a half years here at FW its time for me to move on and pursue other challenges and let someone else take the reins of FW’s livestock content.
However, you’ll be glad to hear that I’ll still be helping out FW with Taking Stock and will still be lead author for the blog when it comes to livestock sales coverage, so there won’t be any disruption to sales coverage. If you wish to submit sale reports please email them to me at jonathan@mooandbaa.com
Show coverage will be managed by the in-house team at FW and my replacement, Sarah Trickett can be emailed on sarah.trickett@rbi.co.uk. No doubt I’ll still be providing some show coverage when I’m out and about too, starting with Countryside Live this weekend at Harrogate and Agri-Expo at Carlisle next week.
It’s been a pleasure meeting so many of you up and down the country at shows and sales and I look for to seeing many of you in the coming months at sales across the UK.
