Livestock 2012 – British Friesian Champion from Oakalby Herd

ES Burroughs & Son’s Oakalby Vienna Sheila has taken the British Friesian Championship at Livestock 2012, NEC, as a heifer and on her first show outing. Led by Liam Binns, this home-bred heifer giving 30 litres/day having calved in June comes from a herd of 200 cows. Sired by Langley Vienna and out of the dam Oakalby Breadwin Sheila 18 she’s fresh to the show scene but praised for being true to type by judge Peter Prior.
