Middleton in Teesdale Mules top at £200

Tuesday’s sale at Middleton in Teesdale saw a top call of £200 paid for lambs from J and S E Bainbridge, Dousgill, with these selling to C L Morris, while second best was a £182/head bid for a pen from M W and E Dent, Wythes Hill.

Selling for £170/head was another pen from Messrs Dent which had been placed second in the pre-sale show, while at £155 was a pen from Beck Head.

The 3340 lambs sold averaged £106.15, up more than £18 on last year’s sale. (Harrrison and Hetherington).
