Middleton stores hit £1950 for Limousin heifer

Store cattle hit £1950 at Middleton in Teesdale on Tuesday when Harrison and Hetherington held their annual February show and sale of stores.

Taking the top price on the day was the overall champion, a Limousin cross heifer from G W Lee and Sons, Stockley Burn. This one was bought by T D Hough and Sons.

Next best price of £1300 was given for the reserve overall champion, a British Blue cross steer from J C and J White which was bought by P Tindale. At £1150 Messrs White also sold the reserve steer champion a Limousin cross to J L White and Son.

The reserve champion heifer, another Limousin cross from W M Reed and Sons, West Biggins, made £1000 to J L White and Son. At £1020 J C and J White sold another Limousin cross steer, this time to P and B Hodgson.
