Montgomery youngstock dispersal tops at 4,000gns

The dispersal of the entire youngstock portion of the Griffiths Farm Partnerships’ Montgomery Herd, Forden, Welshpool, topped at 4,000gns when they went under the hammer at Beeston last week (4 July).

Star of the sale was the 28-day-old heifer calf Montgomery Gillespy Delite, which is out of the best cow ever bred in the herd and sired by De-Su Gillespy. Buyer was Maurice Jones, Calcourt Farms, Montgomery.
