More Shorthorns find new homes at good money
The Shorthorn bulls continue to sell well here at Stirling, with Glengloy Casanova selling at five figures and making 11,000gns.
This one is by Glenisla Zinzan and out of Glengloy Lovely Peucag, an Uppermill Recto daughter. He went to Major Gibb, Glenisla, with a TSI of +8 and an SRI of +8.
It has to be said this is an exceptional Shorthorn trade and if they look very likley to have a record average come the end of the sale.
The junior champion from the pre-sale show then went under the hammer at 3500gns, selling to Derek Steen. This is by Corlea Wonder and out of Glenisla Crocus, an Eionmor Mr Gus daughter.
Following that at 4000gns was Blelack Messenger, a Blelack Secret Service son out of Blelack Miranda. With a TSI of +12 and an SRI of +12 he went to Andrew Anderson, Smallburn Farms.
