“Well the creme just keeps coming out,” reflected Ayrshire judge Selwyn Donald before declaring his choice for Class 3 – Cow in milk (having had three calves) – with Hunnington Fragrance 55 from C & L Window taking top spot. “She has so much symmetry, power and depth and a tremendous udder,” added Mr Donald.
Into second place went Sandyford Diamond 45 from ET Tomlinson praised for having ‘tremendous width, refinement as well as power but not just as correct in the udder as the first placed cow’, the judge told a crowded ringside.
