Celebrating the Year of the Snake

Eggs, as we know, come in all shapes and sizes and this is something to be celebrated.

The Forager has reveled in the glut of funny-shaped egg stories over the years, from the largest egg to the smallest egg, from round eggs to eggs within an egg. But this one really is a bit special – an egg with a snake abnormality at one end.

It is the Year of the Snake, so little surprise to find this spectacular offering was laid by a chook in the Shandong province of northern China.
