Simmental female champion sells at 2800gns

The female champion Sterling Jools Vienna from Boddington Estates has just gone at 2800gns. 

By Sterling Sterling Rochester (sire of today’s champion) out of Sterling Alpena’s Jools, a female by Sterling Dougall she has a self replacing index of +25. She has already taken tickets at Royal Cornwall and Norfolk shows earlier in the summer.

The reserve female champion Annick Prudence’s Victoria, by Annick Lachie out of Annick Prudence went at 3200gns to Mr Mill.

Just following that was a call of 1400gns for Starnhill Jackie 3rd out of Starline Decision, while another from the same stable Starnhill Tollie by the famous Camus Brandy went at 1500gns.

Another from the Wilson’s Cairnview string – Cairnview Noon by Cairnview Style out of a Midhope cow has gone at 1900gns, while a powerful heifer from John Skerrington – Skerrington Susan 16th, with a 2nd prize ticket on her out of Corskie Proton went at 2600gns to Miss Francis.

Just following her was another from the Boars Head team with a third prize ticket. Ravensdale Vanity is out of Swallowhill Miranda and by Beeches Navaho and sold at 1000gns.
