Simmentals top at 7,900gns at Carlisle

 

9 Braegarrie Bravo web.jpgLeading the way at Friday’s Simmental sale at Carlisle was the reserve overall champion, Braegarrie Bravo 10 from D L ad S Currie, Pinclanty, Pinmore.

 

This Woodhall Premier son is out of Braegarrie Vanessa and has a TSI of +60 and a SRI of +56. He sold to A ad E Paton and Son, Millenderdale, Ayrshire for 7,900gns.

 

 

15 Swingletree Buster 5200 web.jpgThen at 5,500gns was Swingletree Buster 10 from J A Tallentire,High Griseburn, Appleby. Selling to K Preston Cathpair Farm, Galashiels, this one is by Popes Laird and out of Swingletree Liberty. He has a TSI of +72 and a SRI of +83.

 

 

4 Braegarrie Barclay 5500 web.jpgNot far behind, at 5,200gns was another from D L and S Currie. Braegarrie Barclay 10 is a Corskie Regal so out of Braegarrie Pernilla and sold to James Burns, Drygate Farm, Kilbachan. This one has a TSI of +62 ad a SRI of +59.

 

At the same money was Simply Courageous 11 – a Seaview Tommy son out of Carbery Pippa. He was forward by R M Fitton, 26 Yellow Lodge Drive, Bolton, and went to T J Neill, Howtel Farm, Mindrum.

 

Two then made 4,600gns, the first of which was Urrvalley Billy 10 from Peter F Brown, Drumhumphry, Castle Douglas. With a TSI of +63 and a SRI of +61 this one sold to T and S Barker, Old Irvine, Dumfriesshire.

 

Second was Beechtree Banker 10 from D C Burkhill, Sykes Farm, Driffield. He went to J B and E J Peile, Pasture House Farm, Wigton.

 

Next at 4,200gns was Blackpool Brian 10 from J David Loftus, Lodge Farm, Kirkham. This Omorga Volvo son is out of Blackpooll Tess and went to McDowall ad Co, Glen Luce, Newton Stewart.
