Solway and Tyne Texel sale realises 1,200gns
Top call in the Solway and Tyne Club sale, held at Carlisle on the same day, was a bid of 1,200gns from Frank Rushton for a gimmer from the Sportsman’s pen of Charlie Boden, BGS1200592. This was a Milnbank Special One daughter out of a dam by Castlecairn Nile God and in-lamb to 16,000gns Milnbank Times Square.
Two then sold at 1,100gns, with the first being from the Cairnam flock of Cammie Gauld, Auchterarder. This was a Glenside Razzle Dazzle daughter, GCF1201112, out of a dam by Garngour Lightning. In-lamb to 14,000gns sire Baltier Thunderbird she was knocked down to Melanie Kellet, Northamptonshire.
The other at this price was from the Cowal pen of the Campbell family, Drimsynie. This ET bred Cambwell Socrates daughter,CKC1201978, is out of a Millar’s Only One daughter and sold in-lamb to Tullylagan Tonka. Buying her was R Stevenson, Brampton.
