Stirling Bull Sales: Shadwell Estates take overall Angus champ

Taking the overall championship title and junior championship title is first time exhibitors Shadwell Estate Company owned by Sheikh Hamdan, Dubai. Shadwell Excalibur L552 (Lot 325) by Netherallan Peter Pershore E052 and out of Shadwell Evora J443 was first in his class at the winter stock festival last year.

Excalibur is a very long bull who carries the correctness of Total Deal and the muscle and presence of the great Peter Pershore in his pedigree. He is in the top 1% of his breed for maternal traits and was reared on the Shadwell Estate in Ipswitch, Suffolk.

In reserve is the intermediate champion from Neil F Massie Jnr ESQ with Morven Kyle L743. This one is by Blelack Evolution J140 and out of Kincarie Kylie G031. Kyle is a bull packed with lots of maternal strength.

The reserve junior champion went to Messrs J F Lascelles’ Balmachie Banker L120 by Netherton Big Edition H460 and out of Balmachie Belinda G042.
